ELEMENTS is a new project by Slovakia-based photographer Maria Svarbova. Each of the portraits in the series features some physical, real-world element that has been introduced to add a layer of 3D complexity to the underlying 2D image. “I focus on portraits in this series,” Svarbova tells PetaPixel.
